3. One lesson, three levels
How many web pages will a student read before getting bored ?
In order to keep each lesson of the course short, the material must be organized in a manner different from normal course material. The structure proposed for the course has three levels:
Level | Description | Amount of material (HTML pages) | Used by |
1 | Main points of the lesson | 5 to 7 pages | All students |
2 |
Additional information about the lesson, theoretical developments detailing the content of the lesson |
Up to 15 pages | A large number of students, who have understood the main material, if they want to know more |
3 |
Reference material. Could be a reference to printed text, or an extensive on-line version of the course documents |
unlimited | A few students, who really want to expand on the basic knowledge presented in the course |
