How to create an on-line questionnaire

How to define a question?

Once you have started a questionnaire, you may start asking questions. Before going into the details, let’s look at an example of a question:

Table for creation of a question

Notice the orange background on the text in the first cell: it must be formatted with the Question style for a question to be detected and processed. NEVER use the style Question outside of such a table!

Here is the resulting question:

How many columns are there in a question creation table?
5
1
3

Please answer the question

Now, let’s explain briefly what the 5 columns are used for:

Column 1   code for the type of question, the correct answer, the default value and display options
Column 2 Text of the question (could also be placed before the question. If text is present in that cell, the question will be formatted in a table, with the question text on the left and the possible answers on the right, as in the example above.
Column 3 Reserved for future use. Leave empty.
Column 4 List of possibilities offered as answers. Each answer is in its own paragraph. Use “CTRL-Shift-Enter” to force line breaks within a paragraph. May contain figures.
Column 5 List of comments given to the student after correction. Switched off for exercises ant tests, this option is very useful for in-line questions. One paragraph per comment, with the possibility to include pictures.
