How to define a question?
Now, let’s explain briefly what the 5 columns are used for:
Column 1 | code for the type of question, the correct answer, the default value and display options |
Column 2 | Text of the question (could also be placed before the question. If text is present in that cell, the question will be formatted in a table, with the question text on the left and the possible answers on the right, as in the example above. |
Column 3 | Reserved for future use. Leave empty. |
Column 4 | List of possibilities offered as answers. Each answer is in its own paragraph. Use “CTRL-Shift-Enter” to force line breaks within a paragraph. May contain figures. |
Column 5 | List of comments given to the student after correction. Switched off for exercises ant tests, this option is very useful for in-line questions. One paragraph per comment, with the possibility to include pictures. |
